Take me away to a land of snow, a land of steep mountains and tumbling valleys. I want to hide away from the world in a wooden house clinging to the slopes in an age-old hamlet. Zumthor amazes me. He was given the most prestigious awards in architecture but he remains true to his values and origins. He could have done many prestigious projects like museums and more but he prefers to create awe inspiring homes. Perfect example here.
