Mixing the old with the new

Nook Architects have gone and done it again. They have renovated what was essentially a hole, and transformed it into a seriously cool apartment. The best part is they left all the beautiful original floor tiles intact, as well as some bits of old wallpaper. The effect is an eclectic juxtaposition between old and new.

Kudos to this very tasteful and creative exercise in deconstruction. However, I do wonder about who might be rocking that all red wardrobe...

J'aime beaucoup les sols anciens réunis en patchwork.

I would love to see those bedrooms with proper beds in them. Love the rest of it.
