A mid-century home in California

My love for mid-century homes continues. Today I bring you a home in Carmel, Califonia that was renovated by architects Carver + Schicketanz. The owners were looking for an extra bedroom as well as a new kitchen and bathrooms. It is now the perfect blend of mid-century and modern, in its architecture as well as furnishings. I am swooning over the windows by the front entrance, and even the "rickety" fence.

So cool how they used wood in every room. And by the way, great blog, been following for some time now.

Love the kitchen - the gloss and wood combination is very cool. Also adore the kitties ^_^
