Entries in dark (53)
Aloha Friday. Is that you I see peeping up on the horizon? That means the weekend isn't fair away. In the meantime lets jump into photographer crush Graham Atkins-Hughes' portfolio and wallow in some of my fav images. Dark and dramatic, always guaranteed to bring a smile to my face.
A long, narrow, one bedroom apartment in a complex with great facilities. So often the private space pales in comparison with the public areas. But the girl with the pearl earring seems to have settled in a stylish pad. 80 m²and in most part only 3.2 m wide. Slick finishes, mirror and drama. Stalking an apartment in Redfern, Sydney. Link here while it lasts.
I'm taking the day off today. I hope you are too Kim. It's the start of the Easter holidays. A sombre day for some, the slowest day of the year for others and the start of a chocolate filled long weekend for yet more. I had to drop in and share at least one beautiful picture though. I couldn't help myself. Something to tie you over until tomorrow. I love this room. I love this photograph. I found it in the amazing portfolio of the photographer duo Floto+Warner.
I really miss having a dark painted bedroom. It so soothing and cocooning. My pale pink walls just aren't doing it for me anymore. If I am ever bored, there is a project I could tackle. I would also have to buy linen bedding though - so gorgeous! And maybe art featuring some guy in a space suit. Photos via Seth Smoot
