Polish interior designer Lucyna Kołodziejska typically creates spaces that are modern and graphic (we have featured her work several times), but this time she has gone in a completely different direction. This apartment is about about class and glamour. Lots of silver and mirrored shine makes this space sparkle, and all of the black is grounding and oh so hot. This might be my favourite creation of Lucyna's yet.
P.S. I have to say that I am still reeling from the terrifying events that occurred here in Ottawa yesterday, just a couple of blocks from where I was working. My thoughts go out to everyone affected, especially those who knew Cpl. Nathan Cirillo who was shot and killed while guarding the War Memorial. Stupid and senseless.
Montana Labelle is a young interior designer from Toronto whose work I really admire. Her aesthetic is largely influenced by fantasy, luxury and most importantly, fashion (her mom is a fashion stylist) and it is all about lushness, glamour and intrigue. Her 700 sq ft Toronto condo is featured in the first 9 photos - what a fabulous home! Skulls, fur, zebra, quirky art...what's not to love?!
There are several decor styles that really do it for me, and every so often a glamourous home knocks my socks off. This is one of those occasions. This Georgian home in Notting Hill Gate, London is HOT!!! It belongs to architectural and interior designer Colin Radcliffe and his model wife Angela Dunn. My favourite room is the bedroom with mirror, fur and leopard. There's nothing sexier than that combo! (Photos via Colin's website and NZ House & Garden)
I bought a few Spanish decor magazines while on holidays (I had to leave them behind because my suitcase was overweight dammit!) and this eye-popping apartment was featured in one of them. It is located in Milan, in a building designed by noted Italian architect Giò Ponti, and is the home of Italian interior designer Barbara Falanga. This bold, graphic apartment is all about black and white, with retro furnishings from the 30s to the 70s. Glam with edge. Not for the timid!
