An eclectic cottage

What a fun cottage this is! All kinds of vintage awesomeness throughout this home creating quite and eclectic vibe. A bit a bit mid-century mod, a bit shabby chic, a bit granny cool. I love the unexpected. By Brighton based Black Parrots Studio

Stalking a warehouse apartment

You can't get much closer to Sydney's CBD than Darlinghurst and That's where I'm stalking today. This is a suburb for the the über cool urbanites and those with deep pockets and I've found them the perfect apartment. No cookie cutter, slap dash, throw it up quick developer's "dream". There's nothing mass produced about the layout and the materials. I'm loving the kitchen and the master bedroom. You?  Link here while it lasts.

The prefabricated plywood structure allows for a series of interconnecting triangular plains positioned to allow light deep into the plan as the sun moves through the day." Love the intersecting lines and the tumble of triangles but the math involved in its design would have blown my mind.

Kitchen love

It's a modern kitchen with a difference. There's a hint of the traditional, a touch of Art Deco and a freshness of the future. The wall of storage behind sliding glass is particularly eye-catching. Unexpected and custom. What's not to love? By Sydney-based Nina Maya Interiors.
