Entries in laundry room (11)
In December 2010, Nicole Lamac found her "forever home" in Victoria, BC. She's been documenting the process over on her blog The House Diaires, and recently featured her laundry/mudroom and main floor bathroom renovations. They are FAB-U-LOUS!!!! Let me show you....
The bathroom was a peach nightmare, and had a terrible layout. They started from scratch with the plumbing so were able to redesign the space.
Herringbone carrera and white subway tiles...how could you go wrong with that?!?!
Trevor honey, I'm not done with you yet. After we make some little photographer/designer genius babies, we must dissect some of your photos. These spaces get me all hot and bothered (or simply intrigued) for several reasons.....
What a HOT bedroom! Love the wallpaper/graffiti walls with that super sexy photo over the bed.
I'd do laundry in here every freaking day!
I'm not sure what the purpose of this room is, but it looks like the set on a stage at a strip club. I like it. ;)
The other day someone from Miele Canada emailed and asked if they could send me info on a new product they're launching. I said sure, why not. A package arrived yesterday and I had to share it with you. It seems the product Miele is launching is "Chocolate Laundry", and just in time for Valentine's day. And this is what they sent me:
I thought that was such an adorable touch, to include a little box of Belgian chocolates. Of course, I had to sample them as I opened the brochure. Inside that little brochure, as seen in the photo, is their new set of chocolate brown washers and dryers. LOVE the brown!!! I started designing a laundry room in my head with the brown machines as soon as I saw the photo. The brochure says "And like a delicious piece of chocolate, you'll soon be craving it." Well, they're right about that. I was craving these machines within seconds. So folks out there in Canada looking for a new washer/dryer set, act fast as they have very limited quantities available. They may have info up on their website. Now I'm off to finish up those chocolates. :)
