Manfung & Angel's Dutch apartment

Manfung & Angel (whose shop OHMYHOME I featured back in November) had their first child in March so they are are selling their apartment in Rotterdam, the Netherlands for something with more space. It is white, bright and so perfectly cozy (now that they have renovated it to make it perfect!) so someone needs to scoop this place up! More details on their blog. Gorg!

A home with history

This Amsterdam home blows my mind. If I walked in someone would need to hold me up because I would probably drop to the floor. Seriously though, the architecture, the bold colours, the herringbone hardwood floor, the checkerboard marble tile, those freaking windows (!!!)...then throw in some cool mid-century furniture and I totally become weak in the knees. A villa with a tropical vibe

Unlike Jo I couldn't live further from the tropics, but what better way to bring the tropics indoors than some green walls and huge plants. This home definitively evokes a tropical vibe within a modern shell. I have plant and dining table envy. Interior design by Roelfien Vos

Reader's home - Jennifer and Hans' Amsterdam apartment

I am really stoked to share this really cute apartment with you. Here's the scoop: My boyfriend, Hans (29) and I, Jennifer (27) have been living in this apartment together for two years now. After studying Fashion Design at ArtEZ in Arnhem and traveling through South America, I moved to Amsterdam in 2011. Here I founded Studio J|A|A|F, a design label that focuses on material and colour combinations. Besides the design label, I am also an interior stylist. Hans has almost finished his PhD in chemistry. Hans and I really like to make our home more personal by combining unusual things or working with out of the ordinary wall paper. The cabinet below the sink has been designed and made by us. We both love gardening, but unfortunately we live on the third floor. Our balcony is covered with pots and plants, but as you can see it’s getting quite green inside too. Jennifer and Hans' apartment is super cozy, and there are lots of great ideas here - the black doors (a long-time favourite), the birch tree branches as functional art, vintage crate storage (also a favourite) and the bathroom is just awesome all around. Thank you for sharing your home with us Jennifer (and Hans)!
