I'm like a child in a candy store. Where do I look first? So much goodness to devour. Mid century furniture, gallery wall, the rugs, fabulous vignettes sprinkled with a great collection of West German pottery. I need to pore over these photos to wring out all the inspiration. In case you don't realise I love this home by interior designer Mikel Irastorza. You can see more of his work here.
The renovation of this 140 m2 art nouveau apartment in the Eixample district in Barcelona has resulted in a beautiful light-filled, airy home which respects the property's original elegance while providing contemporary luxuries. Love the restored original floors and ceilings and the design classics of the era juxtaposed with modern pieces. By Barcelona-based design studio vilablanch.
It seems that most Mondays I want to run away. I never seem to be able to face the new working week. Today I want to be wandering through the marble halls of interior designer Caroline Legrand's Ibiza pad. A monochromatic palette, sophisticated 70s pieces and texture on texture. Brown and beige never looked so cool.
