Between a set of European-style wooden shutters, a cool breeze whistles through the window allowing one’s thoughts to wander and providing a moment for meditative breath; to reflect on deep thoughts. The crackle of the candle beside the tub is a comfort in the silence while warm, ambient light allows for pen to be put to paper, perhaps spilling out unrequited emotions.“

Ahmad AbouZanat of design studio PROJECT AZ has created a bathroom that explores the beauty of simplicity and understated luxury. Rust-coloured tiles mirror the building’s exterior, contrasting with white tiles to create distinct yet unified areas.

Nestled amidst the iconic streets of Paris’ 16th arrondissement, this sophisticated apartment by Caroline Andréoni captures the essence of French luxury living. The open plan layout seamlessly blends the living and dining areas. Floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the interior in natural light while carefully restored wood panelling warms the space. A contemporary gourmet kitchen continues the wood accent while the use of marble here and in the master ensuite suite heightens the sense of opulence.
