More rug and a peeved pooch

Mickey's on a diet. He needs to loose a couple of kilos. He's not happy because it is Christmas and there are tasty smells coming from the kitchen. He does like the new rug though. So do I. Still scraping the floor. I've had to stop for today and tidy up. We're eating lunch in here. What was I thinking starting a "small" job just days before Christmas?

i never used to be a fan of black and blue together but it's totally growing on me...and i'd kill for that rug!!
oh, and what in gawd's name are you feeding that poor dog?? how's he supposed to lead Kelvin around when he can barely get around himself?!?! LOL

A couple of years back I pulled up the wall to wall on the main floor of our loft and started sanding the floor boards with a tiny hand sander on Boxing Day. Ended up doing maybe 3 square meters every weekend until mid March. Man was I happy when finally done.

Poor Micky, I put my lab on a diet 5 years ago....he was suppose to be 35kg, instead he was 45kg... We both lost 10 kgs in 18 months... He is approaching his 11th year...Micky isn't going to have much life in him if you keep feeding him bacon and cheese... I hope Micky looses the weight...
