7 Comments So this is MY PAGE. When Jo and I were trying to figure out what we could have as pages on the new blog, I thought it would be a nice touch to each have our own page where we can publish anything we want - mostly non-design related and more personal stuff. That way our readers get a glimpse into our lives and what interests us, besides design. I'm not sure what the heck I'll be posting here - so I guess you'll have to stay tuned. :)
Since Jo started off by talking a bit about herself then perhaps I should do the same. Well, I am a thirty-something web developper from Ottawa, Canada, and I live in Little Italy with my 7 cats. I bought my current home in December of 2007. It's far from my dream home, but at the time I was in a rush to find something that was liveable, and in the city. My house was apparently built in 1915, is 926 sq. ft. and is 12' 2" wide. Every room in the house needs work, and it's a slow work in progress (my boyfriend Jeff is a huge help with my house projects so you'll notice him mentioned often). I have had the kitchen gutted and remodeled (see my kitchen blog), and hope to maybe add on to the back of the house. Here's a little glimpse (and there's much more on Flickr).

Lovely to re-browse the photos of your home! Congrats to you both on the new look for dti xxx
Your home looks beautiful! I had forgotten you guys were moving to square space, and was delighted when I tried to pop over to your old link before -- Love the new blog design, congrats on success!
Thanks Jo and cara, you REALLY should. The guys over at squarespace are sooooo helpful and actually respond to emails when you have a question (and within like, 15 mins).
I just LOVE your style! It's so fun to see how you use color. Looking at pictures of your home is eye candy. I just found your blog from another site and I'm really enjoying it. -Jackie
Your home is absolutely wonderful! I think I saw pictures of your home featured on Apartment Therapy awhile back, it was one of my favorite homes.
Thank you Jackie and Bianca (I do have a house tour on AT)!!
It's a very cute house. Looks like a New Orleans shotgun style. Which i wouldn't expect to find in Ottowa, Canada ^_^
