7 Comments I got a tattoo Friday after work. My twin sister and a co-worker of ours were talking about getting something representing their kids, and since it's been about 7 years since I got my last one, I thought I'd join in the fun. I couldn't really come up with anything really meaningful so I decided to just get something graphic because bold grahic designs really appeal to me. My inspiration was this photo from The Haute Pursuit blog:

I wanted it to look a bit less like someone was just doodling with a marker, and a little bolder (or I guess a lot bolder). Here's what I ended up with - and I even have during photos!

So simple, yet looks so awesome!
thanks Jessie!
Wow it looks great Kim.
thanks Alex!
I don't know if you're interested in ethnic symbols, but this one in my country (Lithuania->Baltic states->Europe) has a nice meaning: it's feets of ancient pagan goddess "Laima" ("Laima" is a feminine name from word "laimÄ—" (in lithuania language that means "happiness"), so it like "happy feets" :)

That looks great! I'm interested to know what your sister and coworker got because I've wanted a tattoo for ages now and have mostly thought about getting something to represent my babies ... just not sure how they will feel about their names on my arm when they are teenagers. I'm also from Ottawa! Where'd you go to get yours?
Alia, we went to New Moon on Jeanne D'Arc. My twin sister got the same tattoo that my other sister and I have on our wrists but we have flowers on each side - she wanted birds to represent her kids. Sabrina got a bird on her wrist with the initials of her 2 kids next to it.
Thanks for the link Veronika!
