“Hotels today make you feel like you’re living in the previous century. That’s the last thing I want to do.” – Karim Rashid

The Semiramis hotel in Athens was Karim Rashid’s first hotel project. “The Semiramis is an intimate hotel that focuses on positive energy, heightened experiences, culture, art, and design. It is a place for new contemporary experiences, to enjoy, work, and relax in a truly memorable way.”

I’m in love!!!

I’m not sure about this one Kim. I love Karim Rashid but I think only in small doses. Those wavy chairs are amazing and the bathrooms look fun. Maybe for a getaway weekend then back to mid century 🙂

It sure would be a memorable staying at this hotel. Hotels are great to experience decor that’s over the top. And this is definitively over the top.
