Browsing gorgeous photography of someone like Jake Fitzjones makes me want to run to the nearest electronics store and get a new digital camera and on my way home sign up for photography classes.

Pink of Casapinka has been having dilemmas about what to paint some accessories and furniture for her foyer. There’s been talk of turquoise, red, and pink. So when I saw this photo, I immediately thought of her. Pink, this one’s for you (not meant to confuse you or anything).

I’m moving soon and hope to have enough room for a dedicated office space of my own. So what does a girl do when the opportunity arises? Why she searches the web for inspiration.

Australian photographer is renowned for her inspiring interior and lifestyle images. Her photos have a freshness of style and are featured in prestigious lifestyle publications such as Elle Decoration UK and Inside Out. Perhaps my favourites in her portfolio are the images she beautifully captured for Shannon Fricke’s book “Sense of Style. When planning my post for today, the only logical choice seemed to be outdoor spaces. Reason being, I am spending all weekend and Monday (I have the day off) landscaping my backyard. Yesterday we dug out the whole yard to remove the “grass” (I use quotes because it should be grass but instead is mostly weeds). Today my parents are coming over to help, and we’ll be laying stones over the entire yard and adding some garden areas. It’s a pretty small yard thankfully so this shouldn’t be too difficult. I just have to get through the day without killing my father and/or my boyfriend. Both are not the funnest people to do projects with. Wish me luck.
