Beautiful image of cat and equally beautiful chair from the portfolio of fabulous photographer Tria Giovan. Anyone with other pets on furniture? Terrapin on Tulip chair? Parrot on papasan?
Mikkel Vang is a photographer who takes such stunning photos that they speak volumes. Like the first photo above. It’s telling me to go out and find the cutest pink bed I can find. The one below it is so pretty, it’s saying that draping a feather boa over something adds instant glam and girliness.
Art groupings – so graphic, dramatic, eye-catching, and makes such a statement especially when there is a similar subject matter. My new favourites are portraits and florals, particularly oil paintings. SO PRETTY. Here are some art groupings I found in my photo stash that I think work really well.

I’ve loved this house ever since we featured the dining room way back in April. This time the photos are from another location company Dixcot Locations and more of this amazing house is revealed. I’d move in tomorrow if I could. Glamour, design classics, acrylic and quirky touches make this place just too cool. Even a lovely mature garden with a rusted antique bench. The whole place is wonderfully flamboyant and fabulous. London here I come. And if I can’t make it then at least I can revisit this favourite over and over here.
Thanks to Georgina for sending in the following photo of her “God only knows what” terrier mix, also named Paddington, and Banjo, her other terrier mix. While I’m on the subject of pets, I’m anxious to mix things up a bit and have readers send in photos of pets, other than dogs, on furniture. Dogs are more than welcome of course, but since I have a slew of cats I’d love to see some cat photos or whatever else you all share your homes with.
