Rachael’s former home

Rachael sent me an email the other day with photos of her home in Paddington, Sydney that she recently sold (??!!??!!). It is such an incredible transformation – I don’t know how anyone can go through such an extensive renovation. And take note of her living/dining room wall colour, which she says is her favourite (and she’ll have to leave the colour in the comments as it wasn’t included in her email). Luckily, she sent some before photos as well which show the extent of this renovation. She’s in the process of renovating another home and promises to send photos. I’ll hold her to that, because if it’s anything like this…

She knows I am a sucker for animals photos so she included one of herself and Chilli the labradoodle which I had to post as well. 🙂

Thanks for sharing these pictures! Those Paddington houses are so gorgeous… I have been to Sydney a few times and Paddigton is my favorite neighborhood there (together with Darlinghurst).

Wow, the house looks gorgeous, love the kitchen with the terrace. Her black wall is also really cool.

Amazing!!! I love the courtyard off the kitchen. I would never move if I lived there! Great job!!!!

Wonderful! I would love to know what the wall color /treatment used.

Hi Kim/Jo,
I love all the great images on your site. It’s very inspirational. I especially like what Rachel has done to her former home. My own home is in desperate need of a facelift…esp. the kitchen. Can you give me some ideas as to how one can begin with very little and end up with something as beautiful as Rachel’s rooms?

drey says:

wow beautiful reno Rachel, gorgeous colours, lights and airyness, a REAL feat for some of those narrow Paddington houses… beautiful mmmmmmm

great kitchen – love it, what a great project, thanks for sharing this one, it’s always great to see the transformation of all the hard work coming together on a project
