I’m a bit late posting this. As soon as I got home from work I jumped in the car and took off to the nearest Benjamin Moore store to get some teal paint for my dressing room. We’re due for 50 cm of snow this weekend so I figured if I’m stuck indoors, I could at least make myself useful and paint something. (The colour I wanted, BM’s Bella Blue, doesn’t exist in Canada apparently. I went with Blue Spa instead). And after all that, it turns out I had no post ready to publish, so I found some photos my sister had stashed from a site of a group of photographers. Enjoy!
Haven’t even got to my relaxing long weekend at Moonlight Head Lodge and I’m thinking of jumping a jet to Los Angeles and booking into the legendary Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Young Hollywood old Hollywood and outoftowners like me. Let’s get a suite and star watch and pretend we’re the next big thing. In my dreams I know but oh what sweet dreams!
Jewel brights, grey on grey, pristine white and deep rich oriental colours. These are the palettes of stylist Laurent Laborie who specialises in stills, props and interiors. Fresh, fun and inspirational don’t forget to check out the rest of this fabulous portfolio.
Guy Mendlin is a photographer in Tel-Aviv who has quite a diverse portfolio. When he opened his own studio in 1997, he began concentrating on still-life and fashion photography, then turned to lifestyle and portraits. He also has done some work shooting interiors, which he also excels at, with perfect lighting and crispness. Lovely!
Lately I’ve been pondering what to do with my bedroom. My last chocolate brown bedroom got a pretty good response but I’m ready for a change (frankly, I’m always ready for change) and my new bedroom is significantly smaller and in need of a lighter/brighter scheme. To get my creative juices flowing for yet another room redo, I thought I’d post some photos of bedrooms that caught my eye for one reason or another.
