Peter Rüssman

I am seriously at a loss for words over these photos, from the portfolio of photographer Peter Rüssman. They are so incredibly beautiful and simplistic…I could stare at them for hours. In fact, I just did.

Far pavilion

A dreamy afternoon lazing in your private pavilion in a faraway land. The warm breeze stirs the leaves as you flick through the pages of a steamy novel, refreshed by pungent mint tea. It’s getting just a little chilly though as the sun moves across the sky. What to do? Why if this was your far pavilion it’s just a quick dash across the patio and into your own back door. A little touch of the exotic in an urban back yard. Paradise so close to home!

Ever since I was a kid I always loved styling – moving my furniture and knick-knacks around my bedroom hoping for that perfect arrangement. Things haven’t changed. When I go thrifting I’m always on the hunt for fun little items to decorate my home, that would create eye-catching vignettes. Now, if I had stylist Robyn Glaser in my back pocket, my house would ROCK.

Thought I’d share another fabulous talent from Sydney rep agency Lizard Management who have the most fabulous photographers and stylists in their stable. Sam Moiler is one über talented stylist. These images are so inspiring! I’ve loved a lot of these since first seeing them in Aus magazines Real Living and Home Beautiful. Great portfolio, a definite must see.

Look at this portfolio! Isn’t it just amazing? These stunning rooms have been captured so beautifully by super talented Oz photographer Sue Ferris. Everything is just perfect, the lighting, the composition and Sue’s ability to bring the rooms to life. I feel as if I could march right into that first room and make it my own. Don’t miss her food portfolio. Simply scrumptious!
