Tina Rupp

I am looking through my files for party inspiration. We’re having a small sundown drinks birthday party for my husband soon and I need a few ideas. This photo by Tina Rupp has been a favourite for ages and made me click over to her website. Tina specialises in photographing food and her work is just beautiful. I love the light but more importantly I love the depth, the 3 dimensionality of her shots. I want to pull up a chair at a table or reach over and lick the bowl. Sadly no cute tweety birds on red branches for the birthday drinks but Tina has been truly inspirational!

I love the simplicity of all of these!

Oh these are so stunning in an earthy, glamorous because they are simple kind of way…I love them. Such great inspiration, thank you 🙂

I am SO in love with that first photo. If it weren’t -30C out and everything still covered in snow I’d go outside right now and find me a nice branch on one of my trees.

I would take anyone of these. I really like the second from the last.

I'm doing the branch with the bird as part of my centerpiece for a dinner party I'm hosting. I saw this last year and am so glad that i'll finally have a chance to use it! I'll likely do a baby blue branch with a red bird however.

Thanks for the inspiration!
