Stalking Stellan in Sweden

Posted on Fri, 18 Sep 2009 by midcenturyjo

I’m still stalking Kim’s photographer crushes. This time it’s Stellan Herner. So many more photos on his rep’s site since Kim visited last year but the one that took my breath away was this editorial shoot for ELLE Interiör (stylist – Tina Hellberg). I’m packing my bags as you read this to hunt this house down and move in. Wonder what I’ll do with that hook in the bedroom though. Do not miss the rest of Stellan Herner’s portfolio. Stunning!

i'd use the hook in the bedroom to hang a pot with (hanging) plants from it.

Amazing! So much inspiration

Yes!! I saw this home in a magazine a while ago and I searched for it over the internet without any result. So a big thank you! 🙂

Have a great weekend!

Love it. I keep coming back to Swedish style.

I love all of the greys used. They feel so natural and soothing, rather than cold. It's almost like a dream that's half in color and half in black and white, and entirely relaxing.

I love those pebbles in the garden. that bed is sooo inviting…
have a great weekend!

OMG i'm moving in with you Jo!! Love the lofty lounge room.

Yeah, Jo… I guess it's okay. I mean, would I trade if for my worn beige carpeting and "popcorn" ceiling? Um…. YES, YES, YES!!! Any room at the inn for Beefy?

GGGGgggggoooorrrrgeous!!! Oy!

I just love these images, its so much my own style with the grey, the basic nature, calm, simple and rough in one breath. Love it, and its so much Sweden. Stellan Herner is one of our best photographer.

fabulous pictures! I'm especially loving the second and third picture — the sloped roofline with those beams and white wood panels – i die.
