Stalking in pairs

Posted on Mon, 19 Oct 2009 by midcenturyjo

I have a stalking partner this week and her name is Stacey. She lives just around the corner from this Melbourne home and thought we should drop in for an uninvited visit. Here’s the link. Interior designers are Atticus & Milo but unfortunately the website is still under construction. As for the house it’s a light filled confection of designer touches. I’d love to see this shot professionally. So many vignettes screaming to be captured in all their glory. Thanks Stacey!

Oh hang on, is it this one in the same collection? "Riflesso by Fornasetti":

I spent rather a long time looking at Cole & Son papers earlier this year!

The shelf is the Bookworm Shelf by Ron Arad for Kartell.

this makes me miss having my own place so bad.

Mari Anne says:

I like it, but it seems a bit busy to me. Too many intersecting lines?( maybe because it's a real house, not a set?)

The first shot and the garden shots don't even look *possible* to my Canadian eyes! We could never have gardens like that here…it's like a painting.

Love this place so much. Would probably cut down the wallpaperings by about two, but other than that, it's gorgeous…the floors are just so luminous. Thanks for sharing.

Brandi says:

Sometimes I have trouble believing these homes are real and not just computer-generated models. This one is incredible, all the light and I just love the style.

Does anyone know where the wallpaper is from that's in the 2nd bathroom?

this is beautifl! i never thought of beige in the kitchen but i love it..might have to paint out kitchen that color

Stacey says:

Ooh Jo, I'm so excited that you posted the link I sent you! Yes the house is real, the owner is Caecelia Potter who is an interior designer and owner of Atticus & Milo. They've gone all out with the marketing and set up a separate website http://www.85victoriaroad.com with lots more gorgeous pics.
