Right royal oak

It’s not often that I am excited by a supplier’s website. Lots of close-ups of tile or timber but no juicy photos. That is until I stumbled across Royal Oak Floors by Harper & Sandilands. Swoon! Not only a stunning product but a gallery of work that leaves you breathless. Is there anything more beautiful than natural finishes like oak masterly installed? Harper & Sandilands, an Australian company determined to lead their niche market have worked with the best of the best Australian designers and architects. Think Carr Design,  Ellenberg Fraser, Atticus & Milo, BARstudio, B.E Architecture, Hecker Phelan & Guthrie, Leeton Pointon Architects and Woods Bagot to name a few. Head to the website to see more projects. I’m still lusting after a room just like these.

I love how oak looks so warm, and these images are incredible!

Sarah says:

LOVE the last photo. These are all so beautiful. Makes me want to do a major remodel =)

Wow some gorgeous images, I’ll definitely be looking into their timber products! I recently used Classique Floorboards in Perth to do some stunning Limewashed wide European Oak floorboards in a new home I worked on in Trigg & they are just STUNNING! especially with white walls…. my favourite combo at the moment. great find!!

The first picture is upside down, in case you hadn’t noticed.

Just kidding, don’t you hate skimmers, I actually love the oak on the ceiling, but it would droop with time don’t you think? Also, I love the two spirals.

I realize this is a post about oak, but it is the styling I adore! Love the art.

polish chick says:

as much as i generally dislike oak (think north american grandma interiors circa 1982) these are stunning. consider my mind changed!

KiM says:

Holy sh*t. Yes please, I’ll take my floors on the walls and ceilings too IF THEY’LL LOOK LIKE THIS!!!!!

Absolute Amazingness!
Such fresh spaces yet so elegant!
Love them all.

We have used this company (Harper & Sandilands) on two projects so far and they have been fantastic to deal with. Now we just send our clients to them with our recommended finish and they get looked after. The best thing is that there are no "wrong" colours in their range we can work with all of them. Both jobs have had the "million dollar" look but the prices have been very good. Happy clients.

Who designs the couches in the first image?
