Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Whether a stunning space, the mundane and everyday or the down right weird, Belgian photographer Frederik Vercruysse has the touch. Images are spare but more revealing because of this. It’s a minimalist approach. No tricks, no frou-frou just a winning shot every time. (Please interior design gods, if I’m good, can I please live in that first photo? Please?)

the leather sofa in the first pic looks like vintage b&b italia, le bambole, designed by mario bellini circa early 70s. no, i’m not smart, i have the same one, in white canvas! i understand they’ve re-released the design, "updated". how can you update perfection. (i wish i had gotten the leather).

Funny, the first (and second and fourth) photos are from my old neighbor’s apartment, we used to live on the top floor in the same building (pictures on my flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/25469518@N03/sets/72157606746731323/ and picture 6, 8 and 9 is a prohject from the architect bureau my sister works fro. It’s a small world 😉

That lacy looking wardrobe (at least I assume it’s a wardrobe) is really interesting and the walls in the last pic look great, but the first photo is especially fabulous… what a great space.
