If you have been a slave to Australian interior design magazines then you will be familiar with the work of photographer Chris Court. You, like me will have saved page after page in your inspiration files or peppered the pages with post-it notes. Looking at these images it is easy to see why. Chris is a genius with a camera. I have a photographer crush and this one is extreme. Light, composition, colour oh the colour… pink has never been so full on, so intense. Absolutely fabulous! By the way I’m stealing the first image for my office. If I knew where it was I’d be squatting right now.
This is a quick post to introduce a new advertiser to DTI that I’m really excited about because it’s a Etsy shop and I am completely obsessed with Etsy. The shop, bestillshop.etsy.com, was created by Sarah Robinson and here’s a bit from her profile: “be still homewares was founded in January 2009. My name is Sarah Robinson and I’m an Australian Industrial and Graphic Designer with a love of fabric and pattern. On moving to Bangkok in 2008 I was amazed and excited by the fantastic fabrics available here. I’ve decided to do something with all of this fabric. I currently live between Australia and Thailand.” These said fabrics are gorgeous and she has several pages full of cushion covers and napkins that I’d love to get my hands on. My favourites are below. (Welcome Sarah!)

WINKS – weekend links. Here we list what has come in during the week, things we’ve found and things we think you’ll want to see. If you’d like to see your blog or website featured email us and if we think it fits with our readers we’ll link you. So what’s in this week?
Mina of the blog La Résidence! wanted to share with us her newly renovated white penny tile bathroom. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much penny tile in my life…and I freaking LOVE it! I cannot wait to get my hands on some when I get to redo one of my bathrooms. Anyhoo, they were so clever with space planning – with alot of plumbing going on in the walls they hid it all by building a shower bench, which has all the plumbing running above and below it. They also built 3 niches to store all sorts of bathroom necessities like towels and shampoo, and a ‘shower tower’ which had to double as a water barrier since they did not want to add a shower curtain or glass door. It’s fantastic. Kudos Mina for all the hard work that went into this FAB bathroom!
And a couple before photos…
