A milk & honey home

Posted on Mon, 16 Aug 2010 by midcenturyjo

Kim and I have been so lucky over the past week to have readers send us snaps of their amazing homes. We maxed out at the end of last week but I thought you would love to see just one more. Julie Holloway and the men in her life have been renovating their home while Julie blogs her inspirations, befores and afters on Milk & Honey Home. It’s not hard to see that she loves all things white and lovely and vintage and modern and fresh. What a beautiful family home! Life is good isn’t it?

Ilse says:

Lovely lovely lovely!

Julie is the BEST. Her home is wonderful and she herself is beautiful inside and out…

Anci says:

I like that ! It's beautiful and gives me a lot 🙂

Kim says:

Loved the eclectic mix of objects loved and livingly placed. The mix of antique "vanity" and modern sculpted chair made me sigh with happiness 🙂

Erin says:

This IS beautiful! I do love that white look, but could never live in it. First, I'm far too clumsy. Second, I love colour way too much!

You know what caught my eye? The backsplash tiles in the kitchen! What a great shape! Where can I find some of those bad boys?

Karen says:

Beautiful, gave me great inspiration, I'm moving to a cottage on a Lake in WI and this truly inspired me…………..

I like that they added the vintage outdoor metal chair to their living room set. The damask pillow works so well with it.

Thank you so much for making my day (who am I kidding…month!) and posting our home. I have learned a lot from this blog!

And to Erin above, the tile is Walker Zanger.

Thanks again,
