I’m loving the portfolio of Washington, DC based photographer Stacy Zarin Goldberg. Her photos are striking and energetic but what immediately caught my eye is that she clearly loves utilizing her client’s pets when she shoots interiors. SO CUTE!! I also have to mention the funky artwork in the first photo – love the scale but not sure if I want those dudes watching me as I sleep.

nice pics, lovely interiors, but the kids glued to the TV set? not so much!

I have a few comments. I agree with you about the men on the first photo, love them but not in my bedroom. They would make a fun addition to a library maybe? The photo of the boy in front of the television, love it! It brings across the notion that television can be fun and entertaining sometimes but it should not be distracting and over powering. This television is definitely not the focus of the room and no television should be in my opinion. Beautiful layout!

it looks like the cats were photoshopped.

I love the striped upholstery on the rams' head chair in the bedroom! I love the radiator painted red! And the office with the yellow chair is gorgeous! Wish I could keep my studio/office looking so clean! :o)

I love the use of the Panto lights as bedside lamps. It looks fabulous, I just hope the switches are nearby.

Talk about pets on furniture! No wonder you like this portfolio… and so do I. :o) My fave is the two cats in front of the fire.

Thanks for the great write up! I am elated that you picked up on my love to utilize the client's pets. Sometimes that furry friend just makes a great interior even better.
PS- The cats were there, no photoshopping. I shot that image for an editorial on decorating fireplaces during the holidays.

Wow, these photos are striking. Goldberg is obviously very talented – I love her use of light and color. Thanks for posting!

Amazing work…especially considering she got not one but TWO cats to hold a pose long enough to take a photo! Besides interiors, this girl should start getting work as a pet portrait photographer.
