You know those movie scenes where the recently deceased turns up at the Pearly Gates in Heaven, clouds misting, dressed in white, met by St Peter, harps playing, big gates swinging open? This is what is on the other side of those gates when the clouds divide. Noosa in Queensland at its outrageous Noosa holiday house best. All that is needed to enjoy this house is a colourful bikini and a killer body and lots of ice for the drinks. Maybe I get a killer body when I die. Link for the sale listing here while it lasts.
If you’d like to send us photos to include in next week’s “pets on furniture” post, please ensure your photos follow our basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off…and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, the photo must be of decent quality. If it’s dark or fuzzy (from a camera phone) then it may not make the cut. Thanks! (Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to desiretoinspirekim[@]hotmail[.]com and PLEASE don’t send closeups of your pet!)
Meet my 2 year old chihuahua “Conrad” resting on his favorite furniture after a busy day doing nothing.

This is our schweenie, Charles Augustus. He’s sitting a 1960’s chair that belonged to my grandmother. Believe it or not, it is a pull out that turns into the world’s most uncomfortable twin sized bed. As a chair though, it’s great and is one of Charlie’s favourite places to chill.
– Kyle (Hamilton, Ontario)
This is Mitchell’s favorite chair. From Day 1, he has claimed it as his own.
– Stacy (Pittsburgh)
Here is Bieb chilling on our lounge sofa….

This is our gorgeous Reuben settling in on our ‘Aura’ throw

Scout and Bo decided my bed was just the place for a rest as they were tired from their swim… you can see they are experiencing no guilt whatsoever~
Scout used to live downstairs, and immortalized herself by jumping clean through the trellis, leaving a Scooby-Do shaped hole. One crazy dog.
– Tricia (San Rafael, California)
The first place Tricki sat, was my favorite armchair with a silk throw and a big pillow from Bali..Tricki business!!!

Monday morning has come and gone in Australia (I’m always 14 hours ahead of Kim) and I had a severe case of Monday-itis. I must have suspected that that would be the case when I loaded pictures for my posts for the week on Sunday (yes I was that organised). I’ve been stalking seaside resorts. I think I needed to wake up in this Pearl Beach house. Only meters from the beach north of Sydney it comprises 2 pavilions combined by an outdoor dining area. Looks like plenty of room for everyone else suffering from Monday-itis. We could start a support group… on Tuesday. Link here while it lasts. P.S. The real estate blurb says it belongs to an interior designer. Any idea who?
Elizabeth lives in a 350 square-foot apartment in the lower east side of Manhattan. YES, it’s that small! However she and her boyfriend have managed to make it look cute, inviting and cozy! And best of all they are very happy in their small home. To find out more about why they live in such a tiny space you can head to her blog In Between Seams. Could you do it? Even with the pay off of living in Manhattan?
