A vintage home, full of life

I found the following home on the website of French magazine Le Journal de la Maison last night and HAD to blog it. I adore homes like this one. Quirky, rustic, vintage, eclectic, colourful, mid century. Blend all those together and I’m completely smitten. I even love that fact that one window pane in the living room is partially painted pink. (Styled and photographed by Dana Van Leeuwen)

I love that interior! and I love this magazine!

These pictures are wonderful, and really capture what it is I love about European homes. Everything seems so well-worn, yet at the same time comfortable, attractive and clean. I really love their use of bold color, especially on the walls. You couldn't get away with that in a newer building.

So much charm. That outdoor space of the first image, especially.

Oh yes, completely charming!! Adore the bright colors, especially the orange chairs!!

Great chairs! I seem to say that a lot….

Adore adore adore that little stony courtyard! And that orange wall tile…mmm. Thanks for always sharing the eye candy!

Mónica says:

De ensueño!! me encanta la primera imagen, la habitación verde quizás demasiado VERDE.

Fabulous house and fabulous pics…thanks for sharing. Love the colours and the aged surfaces and the rugs and the textiles…well, most of it really…..

That exterior shot at the top is amazing.
