Something old, something new

I have another Shoot Factory location home in London for you all today. This time it’s a wonderful juxtaposition of old and new. A stone house that looks to be about 200 years old filled with modern and mid century furnishings makes for an funky and eclectic space. Love the floors and retro trailer in the yard.

Wow! Love this house, especially those ceilings. And the trailer in the yard – I've been on the lookout for a vintage tin trailer to redo. . .Thanks!

I would kill for that stove and I don't even like cooking!

jonyee says:

wow always thought low ceilings could make a room feel really stuffy. But this proved me wrong. White ceiling, a dull light wall colour and lotsa light seems to do the trick? love it

miam says:

Can I just escape there and never come back?

lucie says:

oh, BEAUTIFUL! Thank you!
…so, these guys know how to fix an old wall in the end…

Hello Lisa Skye…

LOVE – is a needlepoint wall hanging designed by Paul Smith for the The Rug Company…

I hope this helps!

Lisa Skye says:

Michael, thank you! I knew I had seen that before and fallen it love with it the first time…! Is it possible it is hanging in the Paul Smith store in NYC on 5th Avenue? Thanks again…

Sophie Fuller says:

This is for Lisa Skye, the wall hanging in the dining room is by Paul Smith at The Rug Company.

the subtle contrast of textures (clean subway tiles, 'irregular plaster' (?) ceiling) is too sensuous. amazing space!
