I’m taking a quick break from french studies (worst. thing. EVER.) to tell you that I don’t really have time to post much today – and my posts will be a bit light for the next week and a half until I get this freaking test done with. I managed to dig up a few favourite photos for your viewing pleasure, but before I get to those I thought I’d remind you all how you can keep in touch with the happenings of the blog and Jo and I.

Could someone identify the wooden hanging light in the photo from Nuevo Estilo? I haven't seen it before and it looks just about perfect for one of our rooms. Thanks!
Michelle says:
Good luck with the studying, and anything the two of you post, even the "light" posts, are really fantastic.
KiM says:
Sorry Anne, I don't know any details regarding that light.
Thanks Michelle!

hey !
just wanted to say how much I love your blog, that I discovered only a few weeks ago.
your pics really inspire me, as I'm going to have my own apartment.
don't change anything
greetings from France 😉
ps: if you need some help in understanding the French bizarre-ness, I'm from Paris 🙂

Each one of your posts is an inspiration to me! And I mean it!

I love that net and how it was used as a lamp shade! How genius is that! These pictures are great and even though you say this is a "light post" because you're busy studying it's still great. I studied french in high school so I know what you're going through right now! Your blog is truly inspiring for sure and I'm sure the interior design students at FIDM would get a kick out if it! This is right up their alley 🙂
KiM says:
@gallimardine: If you're looking for inspiration, then I'm glad you found us. And agreed that French is bizarre, which is why I'm having so much trouble trying to remember all the quirky bits.
@Olga: 🙂
@tishag: 🙂 I took French Immersion in high school so I'm not totally SOL, but I have a terrible memory and I am not much of a talker. Does not help with an oral test.

I think it is a lamp called Glow and can be found here: http://www.passion4wood.be You can choose the veneer in light or walnut.
