Up in the hills

Posted on Fri, 23 Dec 2011 by midcenturyjo

A series of pavilions along the ridge of the hill. Walls that slide open to invite the outdoors in. Glass louvers provide for additional cross ventilation. Platforms respond to the changes in the site’s natural topography. And the pool? An inviting spot for escaping the hot Australian summers. Bowen Mountain Residence by CplusC. A weekender that takes it to the next level.

If your desire is truly to inspire, than you are hitting the mark at least every couple of days – and entertaining every single day. Thanks for your great eye, and hard work.
Usually when I post something like this about a blog I'm hooked on, the writers wander off to found a yoga retreat…

I agree with Ellen above! I love the chandelier in the sunken lounge room – awesome!

Glad to see such positive support for this project. A wonderful project to work on.
Being both the Architect and the Builder means we have total control of the finished product. (Not to mention we got to test the swimming pool at completion)
