Summer lovin’

David Tsay‘s portfolio just screams summer. His photos speak of sun and surf and sand. Long days and warm breezes. Parties and games and friends and fun. You know that old cliché about a picture being worth a thousand words? Tsay‘s work isn’t so much an essay on summer, it’s the weather forecast in the local paper. Sun, sun and fun.

Basking… in the creamy architecture around the soft mint egg chairs… in the homespun fabric choices in the bedroom with the church pew… in the glow of tall grasses and sunwarmed dogs… he does lovely work indeed, the shadows in his world are only a momentary absense of light.

For me, living real close to the north pole, and expecting a snow chaos any minute now, cannot get enough of pictures like yours today. Thanks for the treat. //L

When I first move to Australia a few years ago, I was having this kind of picture in mind about the lifestyle.
Sun, fun, playful, colorful, still with a nice atmosphere in the interior – relaxed & comfortable. It's attractive
& inviting all over although my favorite image is the one with the beautiful car outside the house.
Thanks for sharing:)

Though winter here in Seville is not too hard to bear, I'm already tired. I need the heat and sun of summer, so these pictures encourage me to think that good weather will come soon.

Thank you so much

The all house is gorgeous, fresh and unpretentious. But I'm IN LOVE with that rattan (I think!) headboard. I want one!
