Jo’s post on Santa Monica interior design team M. Elle Design (consisting of mom Mary Lynn Turner and her daughters Marie and Emily) almost 2 years ago was very well received. Their casual, understated yet elegant style is a hot commodity in the design world, especially when you can pull it off as fabulously as these ladies can. I thought I’d slap you in the face with a second dose of eye candy from their portfolio.

Some really lovely spaces. I especially love the last photo of that amazing outdoor dining space. (My only dislike is the staged books in photos 4 and 5 – who actually buys and reads full sets of encyclopedias. It just strikes a false note.)

I really like that HUGE island. The kitchen is always the focal point of all parties and a large island helps facilitate that. I also really like the stacked bunkbeds too!
