Prue Ruscoe part 1

Posted on Fri, 4 May 2012 by midcenturyjo

There are times when an artist’s work reverberates with you. There is a gut reaction. An awareness that things are pretty darn good. Australian photographer Prue Ruscoe has long been a favourite of mine (as you can see here, here and here) so it was only natural to visit her work again after reviewing interior stylist’s Shannon Fricke’s new book How to Decorate last week. Shannon and Prue are a dynamic duo when it comes to interior features for magazines. And look what I found on Prue’s rep’s site. Gorgeous, inspiring, wonderful, shiny, happy, pretty little visual gifts for us all. The woman is a genius with a camera.

Gorgeously painted bathroom and nice use of the maps, I really want a globe…

These are gorgeous, but my Fav is the fish scale wall in the bathroom!!!

Katie says:

I LOVE the bathroom with the green/blue tiled wall, the almost scale like tiles are perfect and it is so inviting, something about its simplicity is so relaxing!

Desirae says:

Wow! This is amazing and I'm just in love with everything-especially that bathroom and dining room room rug! Beautiful post and truly inspiring! I also wanted to send out a big "thank you" for adding my site to your blogroll!

Splendides photos!

Dinosaurs + design = genius.

What a lovely home, and I too love the concrete floors in the bathroom. But thats a lot of white for 2 little ones, they must not be messy like mine 🙂
