Monday’s pets on furniture – part 1

Posted on Mon, 7 May 2012 by KiM

If you’d like to send me photos to include in next week’s “pets on furniture” post, please ensure your photos follow my basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. Said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off…and your pet happens to be sitting on it. Second, the photo must be of decent quality. If it’s dark or fuzzy (from a camera phone) then it may not make the cut. Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to desiretoinspirekim@hotmail.comand PLEASE don’t send closeups of your pet!

I haven’t added my own pets on furniture post in a long time so here’s one from my cat-filled home.
This is right behind my computer chair – my 2 girls, Phoebe and Mimin, always hang out on the Ikea hacked baby change table while I work at my desk.

Sarah says:

Love the cats with their pillow-piled daybed. Sort of like putting the baby to nap in his (their) crib!

Amina and Paul-Cat says:

Sweet couch potatoes all of them, the point is "know how to enjoy".

redscorpio says:

Bo is adorable!!!!

Dolores in Chicago says:

Your Pets on Furniture ALWAYS start my Monday with a smile.
Please never stop posting them. Weather here in Chicago
is God awful…… no sun, just grey, grey, grey, but the picture
of the border, helped brighten my day, just too adorable.

Adorable!
Love Aynsley's cats' day bed – am rather partial to a 'cat blanket' – sometimes my seven ALL pile on my bed and it's a tricky manouevre to turn over!

Kim – that change table is a great idea, had been wondering about that myself. Two of mine are currently occupying the ironing board on a regular basis. Fortunately it's an old wooden one my parents had made in the early 60s! Still going strong and since I rarely iron – ha! Its new use is fab!

Eve says:

Aynsley, your cats look so peaceful and happy :-)))
