A blast of colour

Check out this London penthouse filled with jolts of colour for sale via Domus Nova. Woodstock Studios is owned by artists and the three floor apartment forms part of an old BBC building in Shepherd’s Bush. It was converted in 1992 by named architect Jonathan Tuckey and the current owner has combined colour and wacky design with the existing architectural details to great effect. The top floor which forms an artists studio and bedroom makes use of the lovely natural light. Colour is softened in the huge sitting room where texture plays a big role but this is ramped up in the small sitting room with its vibrant orange walls. Acid green has been used in the second bedroom and the master bedroom features soft grey which is also echoed in the huge hand carved bath tub. Colour has even been taken outside and the top floor balcony has been treated to vivid candy pink.

Beautiful! lovely colors! I can't imagine these walls in white 🙂 I love color!

Shannon says:

I love all the different colors. I myself can't stand white walls. Let your personality shine with color. It adds so much to the look and feel of the décor. Nothings makes a bigger impact than the color of the walls, and there is no cheaper change you can make.

Nin says:

Mmm..Really liked the blue one! Hugs from Norway

Jared Hayden says:

The steel blue and Hermes orange combination in the first photo is killer! I could live with that.

Color and pattern! So interesting and beautiful!
