Dear Mr West… er, um,… Jonathan,

Bit overwhelmed here. Not sure exactly what to say. I… well… I really, really like your work. Cool shots, great light, beautiful colours.  Love the way you capture the sense of wabi sabi, of imperfection. that’s it. Gee I guess it wasn’t hard after all to say what a super photographer you are.

Before I get into the juicy bits of this post, I thought I’d let you in on a little tidbit of info. Monday when Jo heads home from Sydney, I’ll be flying in to my favourite vacation destination – Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Winters here in Ottawa SUCK, they are long and cold and this year, very snowy. I am sick of this weather and desperately need to get away from it and my chaotic life. I will be spending 9 days enjoying the sun, sand, sangria but not to worry, I have been working my a** off double time this past week getting posts ready to publish during my absense so you won’t even miss me. I can’t freaking wait!

Out tomorrow Monday 25 February… Freedom‘s latest range. Just a little tease for now. I’m lovin’ the retro inspired chairs here. (Nine new chairs, 12 fabrics, 3 leathers.) Aussie readers start getting excited. I’ve seen shots of the new pieces and I know which ones I will be rushing in to buy. More tomorrow 🙂

I’m in Sydney for the trade fairs and I’m stalking in Melbourne. I could have arranged that a little. Perhaps I could have made it to an open for inspection if I had chosen a Sydney home. No instead I am in South Yarra in my virtual world. Pity I can’t see this one in the flesh. So much is promised in the photos, so much unseen. A little snooping in person would be the only thing that could satisfy me. Link here while it lasts.

Jo featured a really innovative kitchen a couple of weeks ago by Minosa Design, and today I’ve got a stunning bathroom. It’s so sparkly and gorgeous – mostly due to the gorgeous Bisazza glass mosaics – and frankly makes my bathrooms look horrifying (they haven’t been renovated ever, mind you). Can I get it to go? 😉
