To all my fellow Ottawans out there, if you’re looking for something to do the weekend after Easter, come on out to the Ottawa Antique Show (or as I like to call it the Ottawa Vintage Goodies Show) at Carleton U April 5-7. The show’s organizers have asked me to come out and pick out all of my favourite items at the show (perhaps I had better leave my wallet at home – I could be in trouble) so I’ll be there Friday for that. We can hang out, shop around, discuss what antique/vintage items rock, whatever. They’ve got everything, from furniture to jewelry and designer handbags (YES!).
