Laure, from this home tour, wrote the other day to let us know she recently designed a tearoom in her ‘hood of Le Cannet, France. I’m not a big tea drinker and have never been to an establishment to specifically drink tea and have cookies but I would totally get all dolled up to hang out at the Madeleine. It is SO CUTE – filled with all of granny’s miss-matched furniture and then modernized with a collage of wallpapers by Farrow & Ball, Cole and Son, Christian Lacroix, Fornasetti…

Who wouldn't enjoy tea and sweets in this pretty, joyous jumble? Ups to Madeleine's owners for pulling out all the stops and permeating the shop with personality.
Jenny says:
LOVE. I think I would like to live here.

MY idea of a perfect Madame Puddiefoot's (which doesn't match the OS, because blech.) Or the perfect place for spies to meet!
Pia says:
I'd go there just to meet the men who are sitting outside!
