A little taste of the timeless, bring-a-smile-to-your-face-and-make-you-want-to-pull-up-a-chair-and-stay-a-while spaces created by Toronto interior designer Jill Greaves.
Inviting and joyful. Though not quite my style, I wish my best friend had a home like this for me to visit all the time.
The gent reading the paper at his desk reminds me how nice it is to see an actual human in a room. So often photogs and their stylists purify their subject spaces of people. Oh, they'll leave a pair of shoes laying oh-so-artfully but that's as close as most shots get to real humanity.
And it goes without saying that there can never be too many pets in any picture, no matter how incongruous -!
