Colour is centre stage in this Little Venice, London apartment renovation by Andy Martin Architects. A fab, fun family home in a grade I listed mansion terrace, the architects have used blocks of colour and texture like an intervention delineating the new from the beautiful, historic shell.

I like the work — although it seems a doomed-to-fail stop-gap measure, cutting airspace in the children's room/s — I especially like the dining area, and THE VIEW! For that view, you could hand me a raw wreck, and I'd make it work. Kitchen color… /brrrr!/

The last photo made be a bit concerned for a toddler climbing over the edge of that wall. Even if they can't put their feet through the circles, there are plenty of ways they can get a lift up.
