I could use a little dose of pretty today since it’s white and cold and dead outside. (I spent an hour shoveling snow last night and an hour and a half walking back and forth to work in the white stuff so I am a little bitter that winter has officially arrived). These pretty spaces were captured by talented Swedish photographer Helena Blomqvist.

What beautiful pictures, the first few are my favorite. White, bright rooms with a rustic touch are so homely and charming. Rustic style furniture adds a hint of colour and warmth to a space, whilst allowing the room to retain its bright airy feel but without feeling too cold. Adding a chandelier to the scene just makes for the perfect shabby/chic combo.

I share the same opinion than Chichi Furniture, the first few pictures are my favorite too !!
just a little touch of color with the Red Organic Chair by Saarinen or the Tulip one, will make a great atmosphere !!

All so lovely to look at and live within. I'll never tire of Scandi style, mostly white spaces. But the kitchen with red and black is an especially fresh approach.
