Coffeeklatch is a creative chitchat, an original and personal way for Magali Elali and Bart Kiggen to go and look for inspiring personalities and intriguing stories. The online magazine showcases pictures and interviews with creative entrepreneurs in their homes, addressing various disciplines. Coffeeklatch stands for slow journalism using a fast medium. A big thanks to Tom for letting us know about this Belgian site/online mag. I am a huge fan of sites like this that tour ‘regular’ and creative people’s homes – like The Selby and Freunde von Freunden, and this one is right up there in terms of quality. Here are a glimpse into several homes they have featured (there are fashion designers, musicians, photographers, choreographers…)

The cat! The deer! The bird! The tiny chair porn! Oh, and the people — they made such a wonderful places to live, and you can see so much of them caught there, in space and fabric and lines.

Ruth says:

Kim, this is my FAVORITE post this year! Thank you for making these inspiring ideas accessible to little ol' me.
