Michele, I'm not much of a trend follower but I can tell you that I hope to see more people embrace grey and black, ethnic elements and LOTSA texture instead of patterns.

Oh texture! Texture makes interiors so sexy….. grasscloth and hides, silk and leather,wool and linen, shipped paint and tarnished metal, it really evokes emotion. For me, having an interior reflect how you want to feel in a space (and how you want to use it) as opposed to how you want others to perceive you should be the zeitgeist, irregardless of trends. However, the same part of me that wants to know the name of Kim Kardashian`s baby is the part of me that wants to know what`s on the catwalks and what is featured at the interior design shows. The ongoing paradox of fashion versus style…..
