With a palette of whites, creams and greys Dallas based designer Brant McFarlain of R Brant Design has taken a Sante Fe style adobe home built in the 1900s and given it a fresh, sophisticated look without losing its historic appeal. Light oak floors, bespoke joinery, modern furnishings and handcrafted accessories complete the transformation.
I’m digging the portfolio of Resolution: 4 Architecture so much I thought I’d feature a random grouping of photos from their portfolio that caught my eye. I LOVE that house above. That’s what I’ve been envisioning for my home – a creative way to create privacy in front from people on the street.
This townhouse in Brooklyn, renovated by Resolution: 4 Architecture, is UNREAL. Period moldings, tall windows bathing each room in glorious light, hardwood floors I am completely envious of, and an addition at the rear with my favourite black multi-pane windows (is there a name for these in the photo above?)…it’s a beautiful combination of old and new. Just how I like to mix things up.
