More Seth Smoot

It’s a rainy, miserable day here in Ottawa – but at least it’s not snowing! I needed a little something to brighten my mood. I think these beautiful spaces captured so perfectly by photographer Seth Smoot ought to do the trick. (We featured Seth last year as well).

I feel as if I've been on an extended couch-surfing tour! Amazing woods, brass fixtures, primitive furniture and natural left-overs (isn't that a PC way of putting it?) So much personality, no sense of the scenery having been carefully arranged for the viewer — and all the textures and light so beautifully captured, presenting every photograph as something unique and extraordinary. Gorgeous work. Personal. To see Smoot is to love Smoot. 🙂
