Some Sunday eye candy

Posted on Sun, 10 Aug 2014 by KiM

I don’t know about anyone else, but as we get into August I start to get super depressed because our hot and sunny days are numbered. UGH! I spent all day yesterday hanging out at my parent’s place, mostly lounging in their pool enjoying the drink of the day – cucumber gin fizz (sooo good). This means all I have for you today is some eye candy I found care of KK Living. And I might just spend today at the pool too. Laundry and dirty house can wait.

The Darling Point Pad

Posted on Sat, 9 Aug 2014 by midcenturyjo

With its decadent mix of contemporary and traditional, deep, dark, dramatic colours balanced by calming white and stunning Sydney Harbour views this over the top Darling Point apartment spans the top floor of a 1930’s grand home. One moment over the top, the next calming and restful. With a hectic work weekend ahead of me this is my virtual escape. I need to spoil myself. You can too. The Darling Point Pad is part of the Contemporary Hotels group.

Vintage lockers

Posted on Fri, 8 Aug 2014 by KiM

I love all things vintage, and have wanted to get my hands on vintage lockers for ages. I either have not had the space for them, or have not found any I like. (My pals at Highjinx got some in a while back but they sold within minutes of them posting a photo on FB and IG). In the meantime I can love them from afar, and this round-up of all sorts of locker awesomeness will maybe be a sign that I will come across some soon! 🙂

White box

Posted on Fri, 8 Aug 2014 by midcenturyjo

A white box with internal courtyard. Outside to in to out to in to out. Beautiful light penetrates into this clean lined home. Love the kids’ playroom above the open plan living area, the brick pattern, the steel stairs and the bluest of blue bathrooms. Riverview House by Bennett and Trimble.
