Stalking the imperfect

Posted on Mon, 3 Nov 2014 by midcenturyjo

A house and a tiny apartment. Both perfectly imperfect. Yes there are gaps and cracks. White paint unites disparate surfaces and eras. Art draws the eye. Style and personality and something I can’t put my finger on. The frisson of wabi sabi? One thing I do know. There are not enough photos! I need to see more. The first house is in Avalon with the link here. The second is a bijou home in Potts Point. Who needs a sofa when friends can gather round your table. Link here while it lasts.

Ah yes, I see very well the appeal. I could live in either of these. The apartment in the city and the home in the outer limits. xoxSparky
