Cave Interiors – items of note

Posted on Fri, 27 Feb 2015 by KiM

There is nothing more quaint than a little built-in seating area in a kitchen. I have always wanted one. (I’ll take that sign too)

Something else I have always wanted – a proper media room with loungey sofas for movie nights.

The dark painted cubes are a great way to break up the monotony of piles of books, and are perfect for showcasing little treasures, like penguins.

Cave Interiors

Cave Interiors is an interior design firm based in London and founded by Georgina Cave. The homes she has designed have great bones to start with (gawd I love classic British architecture!) and would be such amazing inspiration for some fabulous spaces, such as those she has created here. Our interior design portfolio demonstrates a range of design styles from ultra-modern to traditional; opulent to minimalist; relaxed havens of tranquillity to stunningly eclectic schemes mixing the industrial and the domestic. It is always about expressing the client’s needs, lifestyle and personality – not the designer’s signature. We create solutions which, whilst highly creative in their use of space, colour and detail, never look ‘designed’.

Sophisticated and colourful punctuated with statement pieces and graphic art this New York apartment by The New Design Project oozes Big Apple style. Tailored, bright with light and with just enough drama. Need more? Then check out Kim’s previous posts here and here. Then head over to The New Design Project’s Pinterest page to find out more about the furniture sources.

This kids’ bedroom is pretty sweet. What kid would not love this?

Leone Design Studio

Brooklyn based Leone Design Studio consists of architects Roy and Jen Leone whose modern and timeless aesthetic is just what the doctor ordered for these lovely New York homes. I am a little baffled by the home a few photos in where the glass walled shower is directly behind the kitchen. That is totally throwing off my chi.
